Learn to work on your own bike

One on one private mechanic workshops

Gain the knowledge and skills to be able to start fixing your own bike.  One of our skilled mechanics will take you through a 1-2 hour private lesson.  

Basic Flat Repair - $50

  • Learn to remove and refit the wheels

  • Replacement of the inner tube

  • Different valve types and how they function

  • Inspect rim and tire for puncture hazards

  • Rim tape included if required

Mountain Bike Setup - $80

  • Suspension setup - setting sag, adjusting compression and rebound, volume spacers

  • Tire pressures for different conditions

  • Control positions - shifters, dropper lever, brake levers + reach adjust

  • Saddle height and angle

Bike Wash and Pre-Ride Check - $80

  • Clean bike and degrease drivetrain with chain cleaning tool

  • Lubricate chain

  • Basic bolt check - headset play, crank play, wheel bearing play

  • Tire pressures

Brake Bleed - $150

  • Major brands - Shimano, Sram, Magura

  • Includes DOT fluid or mineral oil

  • Front and rear brake included

Derailleur Adjustment - $80

  • Set high and low limits, adjust cable tension

  • Assess derailleur hanger, straighten or replace

  • Optional cable and housing install (additional cost for parts)

Tubeless Setup - $150

  • Tape rim, install valves, install sealant, seat tire

  • Includes rim tape and sealant

  • Additional costs for valves, tires, etc.
