We’re Vedder Mountain Bike Co. and we sell bikes, the fun kind that go off road, up and down mountains and wherever else you dare to venture. Our shop is based in Chilliwack, with some of the best trails in British Columbia right in our backyard. While VMBC has only been around for six years, our team has over 60 years of combined experience in the bike industry. We’ve drawn on that experience to build the shop of our dreams with a focus on high-end mountain bikes and product lines that meet our personal stamp of approval. The Position:

Remember when we said we have some the best trails in BC right in our backyard? Well those trails get ridden a lot, which is great! It definitely keeps our repair shop busy, hence this ad. We are looking to hire another experienced Bike Mechanic to join our repair team. If you have experience building and repairing mountain bikes (electric too) in a professional setting and
have a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you! Our goal is to provide high quality service and repair as efficiently as possible to get riders back on the trails.

 

The Deal:

This position is full-time (40 hours per week) and includes Saturday shifts. We believe in compensating our employees fairly, wages will be set based on market rates and your experience. We offer extended benefits and the usual perks that come with working in a high-end bike shop (great discounts, fun work environment, working with generally happy customers, etc.)
